This is a story about how Santa Clause originated and how the gifts sharing tradition started. Nicholas was a orphan whose father died in an accident and was raised by villagers. He was adopted by each family every year until when a drought hits the village and they cannot afford him anymore. He was then adopted by Isaac who was a grumpy carpenter who took him far away from the villagers. Nicholas as a gratitude, wants to give gifts for Christmas to the villagers who adopted him. Nicholas used to make wooden toys in his free time and used to leave the gifts at door step every year. Soon it became a tradition of gifts giving. I really liked the movie as it shows the emotions an orphan has to go through. It showed the hardships the kid went through with his master Isaac and how is ruled his heart with his kind behavior. It was an emotional drama to watch. I would recommend for all kids
